Live MMA returns to Mountaineer Casino Saturday, February 19th in the Casino's Speakeasy Ballroom for Cupid's Knockout 2022. The event, presented by Made Men Promotions, includes the tri-state's most promising up and coming mixed martial artists. Fan favorite Branko Busick returns to the cage after a second round submission victory at Rivers Casino last October over Kentucky contender Nathan Pierce. Busick is taking on Indiana's Zack Edington in a highly anticipated Middleweight fight.
The event also features two title fights. Pittsburgh veteran Chase Boyde will battle Cleveland up and comer Tony Tortorici in what promises to be an action packed welterweight title fight. Boyde is coming off a submission victory over Ohio wrestling star Brogan Endres, while undefeated Tortorici is coming off an unanimous decision victory over undefeated Dylan Finegan.
The second title fight includes Cheyenne Hall from Morgantown, West Virginia, taking on Buffalo prospect Cherelle Warren. Hall, who is coming off a violent round two knockout over Andrea Howland, and looks to win her first amateur title in her 7th fight. Hall's last two victories have come by KO.
The undercard features a highly anticipated debut from Steubenville's Niko Petrides, training out of North Carolina, Logan Mitchell and Drew Landefeld out of Pittsburgh, and more highly competitive fighters from around the tai-state area and beyond. The event begins at 7pm on Saturday, February 19th and welcomes fans of all ages. Reserved seats are sold out.. Due to the heightened interest in this event it's recommended to buy general admission seating online in advance, as admission may be sold out before the doors open Saturday.
